Stade Charles Tondreau – stadium description

Opening of this Modest stadium just outside historical centre of Mons took place already in 1910, just 5 months after local club was formed. Short constructions period shouldn’t be surprising as opening game was watched by only 300 people.

Currently the stadium is undergoing a complete redevelopment. First phase saw the new, double-tiered east stand being built. It was followed by north end, but the replacement of outdated west and south sections isn’t given any definite time frame at the moment.
