De Leunen – stadium description

De Leunen is the largest stadium in Geel, east of Antwerp. The stadium lies next to the western bypass of Geel and is centerpiece of a major sports complex with numerous side pitches.

It has four independent, covered stands. Both located on ends run throughout the width of the pitch, while the side stands are 50m wide each, leaving much room for potential expansion. Only the main grandstand in the south offers seats, while all remaining three are terraces.

The current anchor tenant is AS Verbroedering Geel, a club formed after previous KFC Verbroedering went bust in 2008.
