Sun Devil Stadium is a facility inaugurated almost 65 years ago. The biggest of these was the Super Bowl in 1996. Sports fans can find the best betting sites in the US at finest online sportsbooks.

Many concerts by such world rock stars as U2 and The Rolling Stones also took place at the facility. In addition, in 1987 the arena was visited by then Pope John Paul II, who celebrated Mass there.

The home of the Sun Devils has also undergone a number of major upgrades over the decades bringing it up to current standards. The last of these took place between 2014 and 2018, when a modern south stand was built in place of the temporary sections. The idea of its creators was to make it single-level, as it is intended for the most ardent fans. This distribution of seats allows for better organized cheering. The north and west stands also underwent significant changes. The cost of the work was more than $225 million.

The huge investment in the facility's infrastructure caused the ASU that owns it to look for sources of additional income. Eventually, the university decided to sell the name of the stadium. After a long search, it was officially announced that Sun Devil Stadium from now on is called Mountain America Stadium. The contract was concluded between the university and the financial company Mountain America Credit Union for the next 15 years. It is estimated that the club and its owners will earn more than $50 million thanks to this agreement. Such a cash injection will certainly help the team's development.

The signed agreement also includes Mountain America's funding of special sports scholarships for top ASU students. The highest of these are expected to be as much as $20,000 a year. The consortium is also expected to provide interested students with internship and development opportunities in the financial sector. Interestingly, this is not the first-ever agreement the university has made with a company. Previously, Mountain America became a sponsor of ASU's Ice Hockey Training Center, named Mountain America Community Iceplex for some time.
