Luton Town's venue, the Kenilworth Road Stadium, is one of the smallest in Premier League history. As it turns out, the arena is admired even by the big names in the league. Despite the atmosphere at the stadium, it's hard for a team from a small town to stay afloat in the world's best league.

One of the quirkiest football grounds in the English Premier League is Luton Town’s Kenilworth Road Stadium. In recent weeks, Liverpool have visited the ground, and it must have been an eye-opener for their German manager Jurgen Klopp.

Ahead of the fixture, the Liverpool boss appeared to endorse Luton’s ground by saying I heard about it, I didn’t see it yet. It’s one of the grounds I’ve never been to before so I’m looking forward to it. Klopp was also quoted as saying that he was aware of the small dressing room, joking that he hopes they can fit in it.

Can Kenilworth Road help Luton in the Premier League?

So far in the season, the stadium hasn’t helped Luton too much. They did manage a 1-1 draw with Liverpool, but that was more down to tactics than the ground.

Luton is still one of the favourites in the betting to go down. In the latest odds on the Premier League, Luton are 1/6 to be relegated. The Hatters are also currently standing at 5/4 to finish bottom in football betting odds. Only Sheffield United have shorter odds.

Klopp also added that the stadium has a pitch and that both teams need to play on it. So apart from the fact the facilities must be a million miles away from what players would be used to at the Etihad Stadium, Emirates Stadium, or the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, the basics are still the same.

In other words, if the elite players can cope with getting changed in smaller, less comfortable changing rooms, they should be okay.
