Benefits for minority-owned companies

Nashville Sports Authority unanimously greenlights $760M bonds for new Tennessee Stadium. Following a series of sessions to analyze the intricate transaction, the result was unanimous. In the end, the authority's main priority was to make sure that a sizable portion of the construction and design team was made up of minority-owned enterprises. The project has attracted a lot of interest from the public, who are looking forward to even more sporting excitement in North America, where millions watch the NFL and MLS. However, a large portion of fans and beyond are satisfied with online entertainment, which brings them to Ontario casino sites.

Mayor John Cooper commended the board for carefully examining the arrangement and concluding that it was in the best interests of the neighborhood. We're building a world-class asset for Nashville without relying on the city's general fund or any general-obligation debt. So, with your help, Nashvillians are getting a $2.1 billion domed stadium paid for entirely by the team, tourism, the state and users of the East Bank campus. And we, Nashvillians, will be owning that domed stadium. We're keeping the Titans here without making taxpayers foot the bill.

The multi-purpose stadium

Utility relocation work has started in parking lots A, B, C, and D at the new stadium site. In addition, rights of way are being negotiated for a transit hub and north-south boulevard that would improve traffic and link communities. The stadium is scheduled to debut in 2027. The Titans will pay $860 million plus any overages for the stadium after the state contributed $500 million. The total contribution from public finances will be $1.26 billion, which will be the largest such subsidy for the construction of an NFL stadium in history.

The main user of the stadium will be the NFL team Tennessee Titans, hence it has been designed primarily as an football arena. Four games per season at the facility are also to be played by the Tennessee State Tigers college football team, free of charge for use of the arena. The facility is expected to be suitable for hosting major events such as the Super Bowl, College Football Playoff National Championship and for example WrestleMania. In addition, the stadium will enhance Nashville's offering in terms of hosting major concerts and festivals, reinforcing its reputation as a 'music city'.
