What is Toyota Stadium famous for?

Toyota Stadium is most often used as a soccer stadium, and the FC Dallas team plays its matches there. From 2005 to 2012 it was called Pizza Hut Park and can hold 20,000 spectators. The facility cost $80 million to build. The complex also has an additional 17 regulation-sized, stadium-sized soccer fields (both grass and artificial turf) outside the main stadium. These fields are used for training by FC Dallas, matches by FC Dallas' reserve squad and for hosting soccer tournaments.

Toyota Stadium hosts not only league matches, but also national team games. The stadium hosted matches in the 2015, 2017 and 2019 CONCACAF Gold Cup. The facility also hosted the 2016 CONCACAF Women's Olympic Qualifier. It also held the 2016 Men's Olympic Qualifying Playoff match between the United States and Colombia. The venue is therefore international just like the best VPN in Sweden with coverage of 60 countries, so try these out.

What to expect in the future?

Opened in 2005, Toyota Stadium was the third stadium built for Major League Soccer. It is one of the oldest in the league. It now seems that professional sports teams are quick to renovate. Although you often hear about a shiny new facility, I think there are many examples of stadiums that are being updated, FC Dallas management conveys.

Jimmy Smith, chief operating officer and chief financial officer of FC Dallas, continues: Right now we're still in the early stages of projects. We are listening to our fans. The biggest thing here is shade and protection from rain or sun. So, I think that will be the main point of it all. At the moment, the west side of the stadium has suites, while the east side only has outdoor seating for spectators.

The upcoming World Cup, which will be held in the United States, among other countries, also appears to have an impact on the possibility of deciding on a renovation. That fact alone, however, does not mean that any renovations must take place before that event. We want to do it in a smart way, Smith said. In 2018, construction was completed on an extensive $55 million renovation of the south end of the stadium, the main goal of which was to create a new space for the National Soccer Hall of Fame. The renovation also included a European-style roof built over a new multi-level stand that replaced the old one.
