We've only seen the design presented last week and already we're seeing preparation to begin construction works. Turner Construction, general contractor for the project, has already announced that enabling works will begin a month from now, on November 16. Official groundbreaking ceremony is scheduled for December 19.

That's more important for local residents and athletes using Willard Stargel Stadium, which will soon disappear (last game on Oct 26), than for fans of FC Cincinnati. They won't see actual construction of their new 25,500+ stadium until March of 2019. Once construction of the new MLS stadium begins, it should be delivered soon enough to allow opening in March of 2021, for the start of new season.

Demolition will begin in November, starting with the northeast corner of the site. Vice president of Turner Construction Dave Spaulding said he understands construction parking is a concern for West Enders, as 200 to 400 people could be working at the site on any given day.
