Architects willing to take part in the competition are asked to express their will by March 28 and those approved will have until June 27 to create their complete entries. Winning bid will be announced at noon, July 12.

The competition's subject is a brand new municipal stadium in north-western outskirts of Opole, in a growing new commercial and event district. The building is to have Category 4 standard with 12,000 covered seats, preferably in a single-tier layout and front row elevated by 1 – 1.5 meter from field level. Total height should not exceed 25 meters and no tall floodlight masts are allowed.

If all design proceedings go as planned, we should see groundbreaking in the second half of 2019. The building is expected to cost no more than PLN 97 million (€23 million).
