The Macedonian football association reached an agreement with UEFA to mount floodlight masts at five top tier stadiums. The operation should cost €3.7 million.
FFM, the domestic federation of Macedonian football, will receive a major subsidy from UEFA. Expected to reach €3.7 million, the grant will allow installation of floodlights in several stadiums.
Outdated facilities are a major problem of the fairly unattractive Prva Liga and the latest effort is expected to bring some fans back from in front of their TV’s. Among the five stadiums included in the operation are those in Tetovo and Bitola.
