Speaking after his team's away game at the newly-opened Ghelamco Arena, the president of Racing Genk suggested his club also needs to rethink its stadium, perhaps even build anew.
Herbert Houben, president of KRC Genk, complemented the newly opened Ghelamco Arena following his team's away win at the ground last month.
But Houben didn't stop there and announced his club should also pursue a stadium change as the Cristal Arena was in his view the very best stadium until Ghelamco Arena. According to KRC president either a revamp of the Genk stadium or a completely new one will again give KRC supremacy for the next ten, twenty years.
Houben also referred to Anderlecht and Club Brugge, both major clubs that have been struggling to make their new stadium dreams come true.
