Olympique aren't beating around the bush – they still have no idea when their new stadium will be ready. For the time being official delivery time has been switched from first to second half of 2014.

In their report for the 2011/12 fiscal year Olympique Lyonnais stress that expected deadline for their new stadium in the suburbs has been changed to second half of 2014.

No detailed time frame so far as the club still has issues to deal with. The construction permit issued in February still hasn't been approved due to objections and appeals. As Football365.fr informs, the administrative court should rule on that by the end of this year.

To add to that the deal with general contractor Vinci hasn't been signed yet, though Olympique estimate it should happen this summer.

Preparatory works have started in Décines-Charpieu already in March this year, but despite this moment coming 6 years after the project was launched, detailed timeline is still to be known.
