France: Opening game changes in Havre As previously planned, official opening game of the new stadium in Le Havre will take place in week, on July 12th. However hosts will play against a completely different team as Glasgow Rangers are going through most severe economical crisis in their history.

The stadium, called during construction Grand Stade du Havre, is now known as Stade Océane. Contractors have done their job in time, handing the blue venue to the municipality in May.

Since then it was known that opening match is to be played on July 12th. Initially Glasgow Rangers were supposed to visit Havre in northern France, but the club has fallen and any foreign tours are out of question.

for that reason opening will see a domestic tie between Havre AC and Champions League participants Lille OSC. Match will begin as planned, on July 12th, 20:45.
