The Paris-based side issued application to decrease capacity of its away section by over 50%. As other clubs supported it unanimously, Ligue 1 agreed to follow the request - „Le Parisien” reports.

To fulfill Ligue 1 and UEFA's regulations, Paris Saint-Germain has to provide at least 5% of Parc des Princes capacity for fans of the visiting teams. Their away section is compliant with these guidelines, but the club doesn't wish to accept away followings of over 2,000 people.

However the club filed an application to LFP, asking to allow limiting the away side's allocation to just 1,000 tickets. With unanimous support of other clubs the notion was accepted, thus decreasing possible away groups to 2% of ground capacity.
