Stadium Petaling Jaya – stadium description

First Stadium MPPJ, then Stadium MBPJ and finally Stadium Petaling Jaya – from the city’s name. That’s how the name of this venue evolved. Quite often if we take into account it was built only in 1996 and has been the largest sports stadium of this city.

There are two dominating stands alongside the pitch and athletics track, both with metal sheet cover. However only the main grandstand was equipped with individual seats, thus the capacity isn’t exact. Main stand also hosts all VIPs as well as players and media representatives.
