Kaisar Arena – stadium description

Construction of the new stadium in Kyzylorda officially began on 2 May 2024. The venue was built on the previously undeveloped left bank of the Syr Darya River, an area that is currently being developed together with new residential districts. The investment cost KZT 26.5 billion and was financed from the local budget of the Kyzylorda Region.

The inauguration of the new, football-specific stadium took place on 4 October 2025. The opening event held at the venue was the Kazakhstan Cup final, in which Tobol Kostanay defeated Ordabasy Shymkent 2–0.

The new stadium is distinguished by its circular form. The exterior façade consists of glass walls surrounded by a yellow-coloured structural frame forming triangular patterns. Inside, four fully covered stands with a parabolic outline were designed, providing a total seating capacity of 11,000 spectators.

The venue is equipped with VIP areas and skyboxes, as well as full technical and operational facilities. The stadium meets the requirements of UEFA Category 4. Video screens are installed in two corners, while the lighting system is located along the edge of the roof. The playing field at Kaisar Arena features an artificial surface.

The stadium also includes indoor facilities for martial arts, weightlifting and gymnastics. Approximately 700 parking spaces were created in the immediate surroundings of the venue.

The home team of the stadium is FC Kaisar, the leading football club from Kyzylorda, which previously played its home matches at the Gani Muratbayev Stadium, built in the late 1960s.
