Pafiako Athlítiko Kentro – stadium description
The municipal stadium in Paphos was built in the east of the city in 1985, receiving crescent-shaped landfill terracing on three sides. The last, west side, is occupied by the only section built with reinforced concrete, housing player and administration facilities.
To date the west stand is the only one to have partial cover. Over time the stadium received floodlighting, but to date the end zones aren’t used at all.
Pafos FC are the host team, succeeding two previous hosts, AEK Kouklia and AEP Pafos who merged in 2014. In the past the building has also been used to hold the 1992 U16 Euros, national team games in rugby and concerts.
