Stadium to strengthen entire region
Chinnor RFC announced on Tuesday, March 24, plans for a new stadium that can hold 5,000 spectators. The facility is to be built in Thame, with work starting after obtaining the necessary permits.
However, you don't need official permits to have a good time. Entertainment meets users' needs head-on. In one of them you can find betting tips 1x2 and the best bonuses for new players.
Club president Nick Stainton said in an official statement: I’m extremely excited to announce on behalf of the Main Board that Work will commence, subject to planning approval, on a new 5000 seater covered Stadium at the end of next season.
He added that the investment will not burden the club's budget. We are lucky to have a Family benefactor that is underwriting the whole cost of this scheme that will make the club completely sustainable going forward, albeit we have always operated with this principle,
Stainton noted.

What will new Chinnor RFC venue look like?
The new Chinnor RFC stadium at Kingsey Road in Thame will feature a modern, compact structure tailored to rugby needs, with 5,000 seats placed on both sides of the pitch. It will surround a perfect grass field with standard dimensions, featuring an athletics track along the edge – a rare solution in pure rugby stadiums but practical for multi-functionality. The stands in club colors, covered, offer views from a few meters high, supported by steel structures and LED lighting at the corners; parking and administrative pavilions integrate with the green surroundings and access road.
The design emphasizes functionality for the Oxfordshire community, with VIP sectors and recreational zones, making it comparable to Castle Park in Doncaster or Nick Newbold in Coventry, though Sixways in Worcester remains the largest in the Champ league. The visualization shows open space with training pitches and a plaza, facilitating the development of the club's four senior teams and youth squads – a dynamically growing club after promotion in 2024.
Club open to its community
The new stadium is meant to serve not only the rugby players but also the region's residents. The president emphasized that Chinnor RFC's goal remains building ties with the local community.
We remain committed to being a whole community club at all levels at the Club that we have developed over the last 20 years,
Stainton said. We are particularly proud that we are enhancing our community side to make further outreaches, and are overwhelmed that the community has embraced our ambitions. The Stadium will be available for community use and entertainment for the local community's benefit,
he added.
