The city council of Castellón de la Plana has approved a new concession for the use of SkyFi Castalia, the stadium where CD Castellón plays its home matches. The modernization of the facility, required to meet LaLiga standards, has not only improved safety but also brought changes in seating capacity and new opportunities for fans in the VIP sections.

Modernization of SkyFi Castalia
The city council of Castellón de la Plana approved the concession for the operation of the stadium, renewing the previous agreement from 1987, when the current version of the venue was built. Under this decision, CD Castellón will be able to use the stadium for another 50 years. SkyFi Castalia, which is owned by the municipality, had to be adapted to current LaLiga regulations, leading to several infrastructural and organizational adjustments. Despite these changes, some things remain constant. One of them is entertainment — a field where long waiting times simply don’t fit in. What matters there is speed, accessibility, and freedom of choice. That’s exactly why platforms like sweepstakes casino online offer the best payment options and attractive welcome bonuses.
According to the EFE agency, the works to adapt the stadium to current standards have reduced its capacity to just under 15,000 spectators, a loss of a little more than 500 seats. A key aspect of the modernization was increasing the spacing between seats and stairways to make evacuation easier and improve fan comfort. The fire safety plan was also updated. Emergency procedures have been redefined so that spectators can be evacuated not only outside the stadium but also onto the pitch. The goal of these measures is to enhance safety during mass events and bring the stadium in line with modern operational standards.
New features in the VIP zones
CD Castellón has also decided to expand its offer for the most demanding fans. Starting with the match against Málaga CF, scheduled for November 2, supporters will be able to enjoy three new VIP experiences that combine football excitement with maximum comfort. CD Castellón strengthens its commitment to providing fans with the best possible experience by introducing new features in the VIP areas of SkyFi Castalia,
the club announced in its official statement.
Season ticket holders can purchase any of the four VIP experience options with a 10% discount compared to the general price, without the need to buy an additional ticket for the VIP stand, Bench Experience, or Gol Experience. The four available experiences are: watching the pre-match warm-up on the pitch, meeting the players after the game (Meet & Greet), receiving a match-worn shirt signed by a CD Castellón player, or taking a team photo with the starting eleven (available only for fans born between 2013 and 2021).

The first option, Bench Experience, is a VIP area located directly behind the dugouts. It offers premium seats close to the pitch, TV screens showing the match, a welcome drink and snacks at halftime, and the official team line-ups. The second, Gol Experience, is located in the front row of the Gol Norte Bajo stand, right by the corner flag. Participants enjoy premium seats, halftime refreshments, and access to official match materials, including the team sheets. The third option, the VIP Box, is situated in the central section of the lower main stand, providing comfortable premium seats with excellent views, access to the Sequiol lounge with live TV coverage, pre-match and halftime catering, and the official team line-ups.
Fans choosing the Gol Experience can additionally purchase a team photo, a match-worn shirt, or the Meet & Greet experience. Meanwhile, those with Bench Experience or VIP Stand access can select one of four add-ons: watching the warm-up, meeting the players, receiving a signed shirt, or taking the team photo (for children born between 2013 and 2021).
