90,000 square meters full of history
Since the presentation of the first project for the Nou Mestalla in 2006, Valencia's plan was to sell Mestalla to finance the construction of its new stadium. The first two attempts, the first at the start of construction and the second in 2019, failed. But the third time's the charm.
On Wednesday, the club announced that consultancy and real estate agency CBRE will be responsible for finding a buyer for the stadium grounds. The company has already collaborated with Celta de Vigo on the Celta360 sports complex project and with Everton F.C. on their new stadium.
This way, Valencia is offering interested parties a 90,000-square-meter plot of land. The deal could be worth around €150M. After the sale, the old
