England: Premier League match viewed from a skyscraper? Tottenham unveils new project

Tottenham has revealed a new residential development — four high-rise towers located right next to the stadium, providing up to 585 apartments. Uniquely, the top floors will offer direct views of the pitch, allowing residents to watch matches from their own living rooms.

Towers overlooking the north stand
The plan includes four residential towers ranging from 19 to 35 storeys in height, rising above the North End stand, which seats 17,500 spectators. A 29-storey hotel — already under construction — will join the complex. Also in the plans: three-storey townhouses on the eastern side of the site.
Construction materials such as precast concrete, London stock brick, and ribbed panels are intended to visually link the new buildings to the existing stadium. The dominant colours — greys and whites — reflect Spurs’ club identity as the Lilywhites.
According to planning documents submitted to Haringey Council, the towers are designed to complement, not compete with, the surrounding sports architecture.
The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium project originally included plans to develop the south side of the venue into a residential and commercial complex, but this was never carried out.
Tottenham neighbourhood transformation
Daniel Levy has long seen the stadium as central to the transformation of the Tottenham district. For the club chairman, infrastructure development around the ground is more than just a sports investment — it’s a long-term strategy to build a sustainable and vibrant local community. The project focuses on creating a live-work-play environment for residents.
Opened in 2019, the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is considered one of the most advanced sporting venues in the world and is the flagship of the club’s broader vision. Levy considers the stadium his greatest professional achievement and believes that other clubs taking inspiration from it proves they are on the right path.
The project now awaits approval from local authorities. If greenlit, Tottenham could not only gain a modern residential complex — but also offer fans a unique opportunity: watching Premier League football from their own windows.
