Manchester City has announced that, due to the ongoing expansion of Etihad Stadium, current designations for levels, blocks and rows will be changed starting from the beginning of the next season.

New level, block and row designations
Season ticket holders will still enter through the same gates, move through the same parts of the stadium and sit in the same seats. The only difference will be the appearance and numbering of the signage for levels, blocks and rows. This change results from the Etihad Stadium expansion project, which includes a new continuous upper tier and additional hotel and commercial facilities.
The new signage system will ensure consistency throughout the venue. The existing Level 1 will become Level 0, Level 2 will become Level 1, the business hospitality level will become Level 2, and Level 3 will remain the same. The updated numbering also follows safety guidelines recommending unified level designations across stadium layouts. Feedback from disabled supporters has indicated that the current numbering can be confusing, particularly when using lifts.
Because the first digit in block numbers refers to the level, block numbering will be revised accordingly. For example, Block 130 will be renumbered as Block 030, and Block 230 as Block 130. Blocks on Level 3 will remain unchanged. Additionally, rows throughout the stadium will no longer be marked with letters — they will now be identified by numbers. This adjustment is partly due to the extended upper North Stand, which will include as many as 59 rows.
None of these changes will affect fans’ actual seat locations or their movement within the stadium. Manchester City also confirmed that ticket prices will remain unchanged.
