What will the new stadium be like?
The new venue will accommodate approximately 22,000 fans, offering an electrifying atmosphere without sacrificing comfort. It was designed by the architecture firm Gensler in the Chicago School
style, inspired by the enduring elegance of industrial warehouses that represent the city's grit and hard-working character. From sweeping riverfront views to open public plazas, every element of the stadium is thoughtfully crafted to honor Chicago’s classic and historic identity while ushering the club and its fans into a modern era. The brick, steel, and glass façade will envelop an interior designed to offer unparalleled comfort, style, and service—redefining what it means to experience a soccer match not only in Chicago, but across the United States.

The stadium bowl is engineered to maximize visibility, with seats placed significantly closer to the pitch. The venue will offer a wide array of premium hospitality spaces and amenities, including 50 VIP suites, over 500 Loge seats, and 3,500 club seats—some with access to exclusive internal clubs. An exposed steel canopy over the stands will enhance the matchday atmosphere by reflecting light and sound back toward the pitch—providing a true home-field advantage. At the heart of the stadium, a purpose-built supporters’ section will accommodate approximately 2,000 passionate fans in safe-standing bleachers, designed for top-tier chanting and cheering.

More than just a stadium
The club has already begun accepting deposits for season ticket memberships through DearChicago.com. Further details about the seat selection process will be released soon. Current season ticket holders will receive priority—the best way to secure a spot in the new stadium is to become a member today.
Beyond Fire matches, the stadium is envisioned as a true public space. It will be equipped to host a wide range of other sports and entertainment events, including international soccer matches, rugby games, concerts, festivals, live performances, charity events, trade shows, corporate functions, community gatherings, and more.
The stadium will also serve as a catalyst for the first phase of The 78 development—whose 62-acre master plan was also created by Gensler. Named after the idea of creating Chicago’s 78th neighborhood, the plan aims to build a vibrant, year-round community with new residential and commercial buildings, a half-mile riverwalk, and a network of interconnected public spaces. The first phase will feature restaurants, retail, and other amenities designed to extend the fan experience beyond the stadium itself.
Construction is expected to begin in early 2026, with the stadium opening scheduled for 2028. The project will create thousands of jobs—both during and after construction—and generate millions of dollars in tax revenue for the city of Chicago.
