Algeria: Tragedy at the biggest Algerian stadium The celebration of MC Alger winning the league championship turned into a tragedy. In the midst of the celebrations, part of the barriers on the second floor of the stands broke off and fell to the first level, and with it - many of the fans gathered in the sector. After the initial news chaos, the balance of the tragedy is 3 dead and more than 80 injured admitted in local hospitals.

In a gesture of solidarity, MC Alger players and staff rushed to the facilities to donate blood for the injured, and the handover of the cup was postponed.
