“Villamarín Forever” – celebration of generations
Soon, Benito Villamarín will undergo a significant transformation. After the end of the 2024/2025 season and the UEFA Europa Conference League final on May 28, work will begin on the reconstruction of the Preferencia stand, as well as the development of an ambitious new project: a 47-metre-high building on the adjacent plot that will house a hotel and spaces dedicated to health, sports, and leisure. But before that begins, Betis and its supporters want to bid a proper farewell to the stadium that has long been the heart of their footballing world.
The farewell will culminate in an event called Villamarín Forever,
scheduled for Saturday, June 14. This all-day celebration on the stadium pitch is organized by Anarchy Sound District, Restaura Truck, RocknRolla Producciones y Eventos Culturales, and Muere Canalla. It will kick off at 11:00 AM and is open to all families, regardless of age or team affiliation.
During the official presentation of the event, held on May 19 in the stadium’s presidential box, organizers emphasized its symbolic nature. It’s not a goodbye,
they said, but rather a see you soon.
It also marks the starting point of a new era, one in which Betis’ stadium aims to match the most modern venues in Spain.
Music, Celebration, and Shared Moments
At the heart of the event will be live music from acclaimed Spanish artists. The lineup includes Kiko Veneno, Raule, Los Calambres, and a Tribute to Manuel Carrasco. In a special highlight, Pablo Feria from Los Calambres and Kiko Veneno plan to perform Betis’ unofficial anthem together – a song sung since the 1980s by Silvio, a legendary Sevilla fan.
The program will also feature entertainment for children and a freestyle football performance by Álvaro López, a three-time Spanish champion in Red Bull Street Style. The event will begin with the opening of a specially designed kids’ area and a family-friendly welcome show.

Stadium alive – even beyond game
Villamarín Forever
is about more than just music. Throughout the day, the stadium will be transformed into a massive entertainment space, featuring over ten food trucks, a dining area, virtual reality experiences, and game zones – from classic arcade machines to modern sports challenges like Subsoccer and Panna football duels. For the most daring, a tethered hot air balloon ride over the stadium will be available.
A special exhibition will also showcase the stadium’s future – including models, renderings, and plans of the new Benito Villamarín, highlighting the club’s vision and infrastructure development.
Tickets for Villamarín Forever
are now available on the official website. Organizers have ensured affordable pricing – €16 for children, €19 for adults, and a VIP option for €90 for those seeking a more exclusive experience.
