Atlético Madrid and LG announced a strategic partnership several months ago, aimed at turning the Metropolitano Stadium into one of the most impressive venues in Europe.

Will the new screens debut during the summer concerts?

As announced, an impressive elliptical LED screen, measuring 400 meters in length and made of a flexible mesh, will be installed on the stadium's roof, creating a 360-degree visual spectacle. The Madrid club is using the off-season break – with no matches currently being played – to begin the installation of the new circular screen. According to photos shared by Mundo Deportivo, the first elements were already being installed before the match against Real Betis. Atlético aims to have the new technology ready in time for the upcoming concerts scheduled at the Metropolitano and, of course, for the start of the new La Liga season.

High-tech transformation

The cutting-edge setup includes over 2,000 square meters of high-performance LED displays, which – as highlighted in the official announcement of the LG partnership – will deliver immersive experiences both inside and outside the stadium, enhancing the modernity and innovation of the club’s infrastructure.
