Poland: Dynamo Kyiv wants to play in Poland. Champions League possible At the beginning of the current season, Dynamo Kyiv played their European qualifying matches at Motor Lublin’s stadium, before later moving to Volksparkstadion in Hamburg. Now, the Ukrainian club is considering a return to Poland.

Lublin instead of Warsaw?

We will play in Poland, and 90% it will be Lublin, revealed the owner of Dynamo Kyiv in an interview with the TaTo Take channel. Although Warsaw is also being considered, the final decision will largely depend on the performance of Polish clubs in European competitions. Fatigue from last season’s logistical challenges is pushing Dynamo to seriously consider an alternative – the modern stadium in Lublin, which, according to the club’s management, currently appears to be the most convenient option.

The owner of Dynamo Kyiv has most likely already held talks with Zbigniew Jakubas, the owner of Motor Lublin, and assures that the Ekstraklasa side will not suffer from excessive use of the pitch. Should the Ukrainians host their matches at Motor Lublin Arena, they have committed to covering part of the costs related to pitch maintenance and care. We have agreed with the club's owner, Zbigniew Jakubas, that we will contribute funds towards maintaining the pitch at this arena, he declared.

Fans in Poland are reacting to the news with mixed feelings, but if the Ukrainian club plays, for example, in the Champions League and major teams come to Lublin, the stadium will surely be packed. However, many people prefer other forms of entertainment and turn to online activities instead. For that, internet users are choosing online casinos, where they enjoy bonuses, winnings, and engaging fun.

What about the new naming rights?

Since February, Motor Lublin has been the title sponsor of Arena Lublin. Although two months have passed since then, the club has not yet changed the signage on the stadium’s façade. At the moment, there are no plans to modify the stadium's exterior. However, we do not rule out changes in the future, explains Piotr Kubica, Motor Lublin’s spokesperson.

The club pays the municipal company 42,000 PLN net per month for the naming rights to the stadium on Stadionowa Street. Annually, this amounts to 504,000 PLN, and over the duration of the agreement, approximately 1.43 million PLN.

High attendance in Lublin and sell-out crowds

Motor Lublin has been promoted to the top tier of Polish football and is immediately filling the stadium. They have sold out all tickets several times in a row, and the Ekstraklasa newcomers are sitting in the top eight just a few matches before the end of the season. The stadium is proving to be a worthwhile investment, and some are even suggesting that Motor should be playing in a larger arena.
