After long and intense negotiations that were expected to lead to a happy ending, Aitana Ocaña’s concerts at Santiago Bernabéu — scheduled for June 27 and 28 this year — will ultimately not take place.

Metropolitano benefits from Bernabéu’s issues
The Catalan artist and Real Madrid released a joint statement announcing that the events could not be held at the Estadio Santiago Bernabéu. From the club, we would like to thank Aitana and her entire team for the professionalism and dedication they’ve shown over the past few months. We believe that new opportunities for collaboration will arise in the near future,
the club stated on its official website — just days after rumors surfaced about a possible relocation of the concerts to Riyadh Air Metropolitano.
Aitana later confirmed the news, admitting that the entire situation was emotionally difficult for her. I don’t want to make a drama out of this, and I know what another change means for you all. I just want to say that I promise to give you the best show of your lives. I’ll give it my all to make it unforgettable. I won’t let you down. I’ll be living only for this performance,
she said in a recorded video.
Fans express their disappointment
Ultimately, the concerts will take place at Atlético Madrid’s stadium on July 30 and 31, which are different dates than originally planned — and this has caused quite a stir among fans. We’ve had our tickets since December 2023. Two reschedulings. First by six months, from Saturday to Friday. Now with the same ticket, it’s on a Wednesday. What about travel, bus tickets, trains, and other costs? This is a disaster in terms of organization,
one fan wrote. This is a scandal — it’s not just about canceling a hotel — we simply can’t come anymore,
commented another, echoing many others who lamented that the concert wasn’t held at WiZink Center on the original dates.
