It is rare for a club to have such a relationship with a sponsor as Real Sociedad had with Reale Seguros. After 13 seasons, the two sides announced the end of their partnership, exchanging meaningful gestures. The company released a touching video and the club, as a gesture of appreciation... created a special chair in the stands dedicated to the sponsor.

"We will always feel you close"

Thank you, Reale Seguros - farewells Real Sociedad to its long-standing partner, which has additionally been, and will continue to be until the end of the season, title sponsor of Reale Arena since 2019. As the club describes it, the insurance company has been one of the most loyal and important partners in the club's 115-year history.

A great strategic partner that has invested resources and trust in this club, is how Reale Seguros was described by the president of the club from San Sebastian Jokin Aperribay. Our paths diverge, but we will always feel you close, he added. The company's CEO Ignacio Mariscal, in turn, thanked the club for its trust and the fans for their unconditional support.

In a joint statement, both highlighted the social commitment of Reale Seguros which became apparent with the support of the club's foundation, but above all when the company, during the economic crisis in 2012, payed for the passes of the socios who had lost their jobs.

Real Sociedad and Reale Seguros are thus parting ways after 13 years of unforgettable history on good terms. So good, in fact, that Reale Seguros has released an emotional video thanking Real Sociedad for their partnership, and the club decided to install a chair with the company's logo and name on the stands. A unique seat, as all the others on Anoeta are either blue or white, and this one is yellow:
