Will they meet the centenary deadline?

The offices of Palazzo Vecchio are simultaneously working on project modifications to complete the first phase of construction by 2026. According to a statement from the Municipality of Florence, work is already underway on drilling foundation piles for the stands and the roof of the new Fiesole stand: around fifty drilled piles have been installed, each 20 to 25 meters long and over one meter in diameter. Additionally, the renovation of the Torre di Maratona is in its initial phase.

The goal, as explained by the Mayor of Florence in the same statement, is to complete the Fiesole stand and half of the Maratona stand while taking into account the centenary celebrations of the team. The resolution also mandates the offices to negotiate a new agreement with ACF Fiorentina for the 2025-2026 season, with further evaluations to be conducted in the coming months.
