Modern, multi-functional sports complex
The presented visualizations show the area almost unrecognizable, with new sports, entertainment, and health and well-being facilities. The formal submission of the plans comes before Worcester Warriors' bid to re-join the English Rugby system in the new Tier 2 competition. The redevelopment of the North Stand, which involves splitting it into terraces, is one of the larger projects highlighted in the planning application. Inside the stands will be different levels of hospitality, a concourse, and a stadium room with banqueting facilities. A unique elevated rooftop on the North Stand, named the Watch Tower, will offer a new view of the pitch and surrounding countryside.
Sixways Stadium undergoes minor renovations every few years. In 2019, a state-of-the-art LED lighting system was installed, which is considered the best in the Gallagher Premiership. Two new lighting towers were built in the northwest and southwest corners of the stadium, with their lights arranged in a distinctive W
shape. If you wish to know more about different lighting options for an outdoor stadium, consider visiting https://commercialledlights.com/outdoor-lighting/led-stadium-lights/. You will get various options for LED stadium lights to choose from.

A hub for e-sports, health, and the community
Next to the North Stand are plans for a 130-bed hotel with various trees, lighting, and communal seating to decorate its exterior. A new multi-purpose space will also be created on Warriors Way, which planners hope will be transformed into a national esports center, catering to the growing popularity of video game competitions. The visualizations also highlight what developers hope will become a medical and rehabilitation center for athletes, designed for both the general public and professional sportspeople. Plans for the center show how owners hope to have onsite MRI and CT scanners, along with diagnostic, rehabilitation, biomechanics, and strength and conditioning facilities.
It will also serve as a research tool for the University of Worcester and will come with a 6.5-storey car park to accommodate 550 cars. Other plans for the stadium include a new drive-thru, decorated externally with wooden slats, a padel facility, and an industrial and trade estate. The plans also emphasize the importance of environmental landscaping, with an additional pitch, a wildlife trail, and a community orchard to be implemented around the stadium.
