The external renovation of Estadio Martínez Valero has been accelerated, at least in terms of the preparatory work for the first phase, which affects the current structure.

First of three phases
The work involves conducting tests on the concrete floors and even testing the paint. As a result, panels covering much of the facade are being removed, and the wiring is being rerouted. Depending on the results of the tests (the club already has experience in this area, as work has been previously done on the interior structure), the repair and cleaning of the floors may take more or less time, and as a result, the painting of the facade will begin sooner.
While waiting for the completion of the stadium renovations of their favorite teams, fans often focus on other online activities, such as gambling games. For those seeking such experiences, we recommend slotozilla.com, an online platform focused on online gambling games offering a 100$ no deposit bonus.
The club has not disclosed the detailed timeline of the work, but it is estimated that the first phase will last 14 months. This will be followed by the second phase, which involves the installation of an exoskeleton that will cover the entire stadium facade, and the third phase will ensure that the stands at Estadio Martínez Valero are fully covered. The entire project will take 18 months. Elche representatives hope that the renovation will not require the team to move out of the city, although they acknowledge that parts of the stands may be unavailable during some matches.

Renovation for the 50th anniversary
The goal is to give the stadium a modern exterior appearance for the 2026/27 season, coinciding with the 50th anniversary of its construction, along with a new VIP area and shopping gallery. The total investment will amount to around 40 mln €. 65% of this sum will be covered by the club's own funds, while the remaining 35% will come from the LaLiga Impulso program, a financial agreement between the league association and the CVC Fund, which allowed Elche access to long-term financing of 29 mln €.
75% of this amount must be allocated to infrastructure, but since the club has already invested around 5 mln € in other stadium improvement projects and must allocate some of these funds to the construction of a new training center, the amount going towards the stadium project will be smaller. However, this is not seen as an issue, given the club’s strong financial position.
