Spain: Espanyol stadium following in Bernabéu's footsteps; another blunder by the artist All that's left of Lola Indigo's Stadium Tour for the moment is a single concert at Estadio La Cartuja. A week after Real Madrid took down the announcement of the concert at the Bernabeu, Espanyol followed suit with Los Blancos. Promoters responded with a strong announcement.

Second of three stadiums drops out of tour

The Spanish star's Summer Stadium Tour was to have three stops: Santiago Bernabéu in Madrid (June 14), La Cartuja in Seville (June 21) and RCDE Stadium in Barcelona (July 12). A week ago, it was deprived of its inaugural concert at Los Blancos’ arena and this week its culmination in the Catalan capital has been called into question.

We do not have the proper authorizations to confirm this exact date, July 12, 2025, - explained RCD Espanyol in a brief statement. Despite assurances that behind-the-scenes work is underway at the club to enable good organization of concerts at RCDE Stadium, the promoters have not accepted Pericos' position.

The promoter is not about to let go

The company has an existing contract with RCD Espanyol [...], to organize concerts for the next five years, during the summer break, assures El Greco Entertainment in the statement. Based on this agreement, among other things, an agreement has been reached for the artist Lola Índigo to perform on July 12, 2025. As usual, the concert promoter, together with the artist's team, will present [...], in accordance with the deadlines set, a license application, in accordance with state, autonomous and municipal legal requirements, states the company. The artist has not, at this point, made public her opinion.

It is still possible for the artist's tour to go ahead as planned, or with rescheduled dates, but so far, only the concert at Seville’s Olympic Stadium is confirmed. In order to perform in Madrid, the Spanish pop star must hope for a break in the impasse over concerts at the Bernabéu. The concert in Barcelona, on the other hand, depends on the club and promoter reaching an agreement.
