England: Ticket affordability and innovative Everton Stadium facilities Loyal supporters of the club have been waiting for this moment for years. Affordability of tickets for Everton matches

Everton have announced that season ticket prices at new Everton Stadium for under-11s will be just £199, and under-18s will be £256 for the family sector. This action is in line with the club's philosophy of supporting families and young fans in difficult times of cost of living crisis. By comparison, the most expensive season tickets at the new stadium will cost between £10 and £47 per game - significantly less than the prices faced by fans of other clubs such as Manchester United (£66).

However, the decisions on ticket prices were no accident. The club consulted with supporters through surveys and workshops, resulting in as many as 37 different price categories - far more than the 10 options previously available at Goodison Park.

New fan experience at Everton Stadium

Everton's new stadium is introducing a number of revolutionary features that will change the way fans attend games. For the first time in decades, fans will be able to stand in the stands during matches, thanks to a lower south stand with a security barrier system. Special fares will allow youngsters aged 14 to 21 to use the zone for £570. Season tickets for adults will be £760.

What's more, fans will be able to move freely around the stadium and meet friends from different stands before the game and at halftime - something that was not possible at Goodison Park. Modern technical facilities, including high-speed Wi-Fi, full mobile connectivity and extensive food and beverage areas, will ensure fans are comfortable at the highest level.

The most accessible stadium in England

To mark International Day of People with Disabilities on 3 December, liverpoolecho.co.uk highlighted the exceptional inclusivity of Everton's new stadium. The venue's design includes up to 320% more accessible seats compared to Goodison Park. There will be 366 seats for people with disabilities, 310 additional seats, a sensory box, sensory room, quiet rooms and faith rooms.

With wheelchair users in mind, 19 lifts and platforms have been designed to be accessible on multiple levels of the stadium. All platforms are step-free and toilets have been adapted to suit different needs. In total, the stadium has 58 accessible toilets for people with disabilities, as well as 95 baby changing facilities and 20 neutral toilets.
