Goal: Ready in time for the Copa del Rey final

In a press release, the Ministry of Culture and Sports announced that the company Cartuja de Sevilla, responsible for the stadium, has contracted Heliopol from the Rusvel business group to complete the work to increase seating capacity. The construction company has committed to meeting the timeline, which requires completing the work within six months. Thus, the expected completion date is set between March and April 2025, allowing sufficient time to host the Copa del Rey final.

The budget for the second phase of the Estadio La Cartuja grandstand expansion is €15 million, with €10 million contributed by the Junta de Andalucía in 2022, and the remaining amount financed through Cartuja de Sevilla’s financial leverage.
