At a recent conference at Parc des Princes, held to present a study conducted in collaboration with the Centre de Droit et d'Économie du Sport (CDES) on PSG’s economic impact and social utility, the club’s CEO, Victoriano Melero, was asked about the stadium plans.

A stadium instead of a production plant?
One of the requirements is to be the owner,
Melero explained. So, our position hasn’t changed. Today, we’re continuing to work and evaluate all possible options for building a future stadium that Paris Saint-Germain would own.
Among available options, a new one has emerged: constructing a stadium in Poissy. According to L’Équipe, just over a year ago, the club inaugurated its new training center in this town in Yvelines. The land is owned by the automotive giant Stellantis, whose holding company, Exor, is a major shareholder. Reports suggest the company is considering closing certain production units or even the entire site. A decision will be made by the end of 2025, based on the lifespan of the models produced,
Stellantis CEO Carlos Tavares recently told Les Échos. The factory mainly produces the Opel Mokka, which is slated for production until 2028, and the DS 3, whose replacement model is expected in 2027.

A dream location for a super stadium?
If this location is secured, PSG would have the desired space to create PSG Land
– a stadium seating at least 60,000 people, along with commercial areas capable of attracting year-round visitors, even when no matches are scheduled. Poissy now joins two other sites already being seriously considered by the club: land in the Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines area and the Saint-Cloud racetrack.
