The comprehensive study will outline the stadium’s requirements in agreement with the home clubs, followed by detailed work on areas such as fire protection, structural integrity, and technology. This foundation will allow the assessment of how the expansion can proceed without disrupting the match schedule. At the same time, a traffic plan will be developed to improve access for fans. Noise and lighting emissions reports are also being prepared to ensure all environmental requirements are met. Only after these steps will the investment cost be determined.

Modernization to meet the highest European standards

To meet the increased demands of large events, a significant upgrade of food, retail, and sanitation facilities is planned. The construction of additional skyboxes and suites will add 2,000 extra seats. The project will also focus on necessary improvements for players, such as expanded warm-up areas. Locker rooms, anti-doping control rooms, and UEFA officials’ offices will meet international standards in the future. The media and press areas, including commentary booths and press rooms, will also be expanded. Additionally, the infrastructure for both local clubs will be enhanced.

In terms of sustainability, modern energy systems like photovoltaic installations are planned. Accessibility improvements are also a priority.
