Work continues on the foundation

The field level is nearly completely poured, and crews will soon begin working on the main concourse. Concrete is being poured every three to four days, moving clockwise and counterclockwise from the southeast corner of the site. By the end of this phase, about 100,000 cubic yards of concrete will have been poured, and 1,600 tons of rebar will be installed for structural support and stability.

Football fans, as well as fans of other sports, certainly enjoy watching related content. Accessing YouTube TV can be tricky for those outside the U.S., as regional restrictions limit access to certain channels depending on the state. To bypass these issues, you can use a bypass YouTube TV location tool and enjoy your favorite content wherever you are.

The outline of the seating bowl is also taking shape, and its primary construction will begin next year when the appropriate materials arrive from Atlanta, scheduled for February. To reach this stage of work, crews had to excavate a significant amount of dirt—400,000 cubic yards were removed from parking lots on the east side. To complete this task, nearly 800 pillars were anchored into the ground to support the superstructure.

Additionally, underground work on water, sewer, and electrical infrastructure is underway, which will power the entire building. Crews are also installing a tank system that will collect rainwater from the stadium’s roof and recycle it for irrigation, flushing toilets, and filling HVAC systems.

The centerpiece of Nashville

The companies responsible for building the new home of the Tennessee Titans are Turner and AECOM Hunt, along with local firms Polk & Associates and ICF Builders. The stadium is the centerpiece of the East Bank development district in Nashville along the Cumberland River. The 1.8 million-square-foot facility will feature a round, semi-transparent roof, multiple outdoor terraces with views of the Nashville skyline, improved sightlines for all 62,000 seats, and 12,000 square feet of community event space to be used year-round. In addition to Titans home games, the stadium will host Tennessee State University football games and concerts. It is also being marketed as a potential venue for the Super Bowl and other major sporting events, such as the NCAA Final Four and College Football Playoffs.

The cost of the new stadium will be $2.1 billion, and the entire project is expected to be completed by 2027. The current home of the Tennessee Titans, Nissan Stadium, opened in 1999 and has a seating capacity of 69,143.
