Massive investment

We’re coming home! – proclaims the slogan of the promotional campaign. Inter Miami will remain at DRV PNK Stadium in Fort Lauderdale until the end of 2025, before moving south to the heart of Miami, which has always been the club's goal. The stadium, located next to Miami International Airport on the site of the former Melreese golf course, will have a capacity of 26,700 and will be the centerpiece of a 131-acre investment. The development will also include a 58-acre public park, youth sports fields, shops, restaurants, hotels, office space, and various attractions.

Currently, construction work is underway on the first phase of Miami Freedom Park, which is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2025. This phase includes the new stadium, public park, road and parking infrastructure, and additional entertainment and hospitality concepts within the district. The second phase of the Miami Freedom Park entertainment district will feature new retail and entertainment concepts, as well as a curated selection of dining options. It is planned for 2026, coinciding with the World Cup.

The third phase will include the launch of additional entertainment offerings. Efforts are underway to attract partners, tenants, and retailers for commercial and leasing collaborations.

Everyone is waiting for the new venue

Last month, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis visited DRV PNK Stadium to announce that the state is granting $8 million to Miami-Dade County to assist with infrastructure around Miami Freedom Park, including the construction of a road to ease traffic around the venue. The funds will come from the Governor's Job Growth Grant Fund, which supports infrastructure and workforce development.

After years of dreaming, it’s so exciting to share that in 2026, Inter Miami will move to its home at Miami Freedom Park, said David Beckham. Since its inaugural season in 2020, Inter Miami has been playing at a temporary stadium in Fort Lauderdale, which can accommodate 21,550 spectators. Co-owners David Beckham and Jorge and Jose Mas have been working for years to build a stadium in Miami. To promote the new stadium, Inter Miami staff and players went out into the Miami community, visiting various locations in the city. Embodying our ‘Freedom to Dream’ ethos, we are diligently building something extraordinary – a place where every fan can enjoy unforgettable soccer moments. Looking forward to the opening of our new stadium, we eagerly anticipate creating a world-class facility that reflects our passion, commitment, and the collective dreams of our South Florida community, said Jorge Mas.
