Previously, the Mistiano Family and PAM Health donated $25 million toward the revitalization project. The $700 million renovation project was approved by the Board of Trustees in 2023.
A recent statement from the Vice President for Intercollegiate Athletics, Dr. Patrick Kraft, mentioned a generous family that has helped the athletic department in many ways. Although the family wishes to remain anonymous, the Founders' Gift donations are said to be recognized once the project is complete.
What to Expect from the Renovation Project
The renovations aim to transform Beaver Stadium into a year-round facility. This will include premium seating, improved circulation, new concessions and restrooms, Wi-Fi, and other amenities. The most exciting aspect of the renovation is the new west-side tower, which will feature private luxury suites and club seat areas with lounge access, among other amenities.
This tower will be named in honor of the Mistiano family's gift. The west side is expected to be the main focus of the project. There will be more than 59,000 sq. ft of open space for public events in the west-side tower, along with a welcome center and concourses that offer a view of the field.

Improvements in the Initial Phase
The initial phase of this renovation project began in the spring and summer of 2024 and has covered various aspects such as winterization, a new south-end zone video board, increased concessions, and more.
After the 2024 season wraps up, future phases of renovation will continue.
Expansion of Gates
One of the major goals of the renovation is the expansion of the gates. In the initial phase, the student entry gates A and E at the southeast and northeast corners, respectively, are being expanded to increase the entry area.
While a total of 24 new elevators are planned, 4 new elevators (two at each tower) are being added in the initial phase. As more space is added at the corners of Beaver Stadium, fans can expect an increased number of concession stands and restrooms.
OVG Hospitality will be the new partner for food and beverage at Beaver Stadium. The project aims to add 50 points of sale to the stadium, along with streamlined delivery and new offerings.

Enhanced Video Boards
A new, higher-resolution board will be installed at the south end. The ribbon boards will be replaced with larger boards at the north and south ends. A super ribbon
board is also being added at the top of the south bowl.
Fans will have to wait for the super ribbon until the season begins, while the other video boards will be in place before the season kicks off.
Additional Fan Entry Points
Work at Gate F is expected to add additional fan entry points to Beaver Stadium. On the east side of the stadium, Gate F will also receive a food and entertainment space. Similar to the student entry Gates A and E, there will be increased concessions at Gate F due to the expansion work.
Speaking of entertainment, the multi-year, multi-million-dollar renovation project will not include one of the popular sports entertainment options: football betting. Sports fans who are always on the lookout for sports entertainment can find plenty of options from the comfort of their homes. There is a long list of betting sites that offer free bets and other welcome bonuses to get started. Live streaming, live stats, and various other live-betting features enhance the viewing experience for football fans watching from home. The betting aspect only adds to the overall thrill of the football game, making it worth their time.
Beaver Stadium will be the talk of the town come the start of the season, and in a few years, it is expected to generate significantly more revenue if everything goes according to plan.
