End of cooperation with VIVACOM, new sponsor soon?

Since 2017, Levski Sofia's stadium was named VIVACOM Arena Georgi Asparuhov, as a result of a sponsorship agreement with one of Bulgaria's largest telecommunications operators. It was VIVACOM, as the club's main partner, that obtained the right to add its name to that of the historic football venue, associated with club legend Georgi Asparuhov. The agreement between Levski and VIVACOM had been in place for several years. However, as announced, this phase of the cooperation will come to an end at the end of 2024, which has opened up a new space for potential sponsors.

The sponsor who decides to enter into cooperation will have the opportunity to add their name to the historic name of the stadium.

According to the announcement, the initial period of the partnership will be one year, starting on January 1, 2025. Companies interested in the opportunity to gain naming rights to the stadium must submit their bids by 18 November 2024. It is worth noting that the club has announced an openness to a variety of proposals, giving space to both large corporations and smaller companies looking to make their mark in the world of football.

Benefits for new sponsor

Levski Sofia has made it clear that cooperation with the title sponsor will bring it numerous benefits. The sponsor will be given the opportunity to display its name on the facades of the stadium's main sectors - Sector A and Sector B, which will ensure its visibility to thousands of fans, both during matches and during other events organised at the venue. In addition, the sponsor's logo and name will be on season tickets and tickets for Levski's first team home matches.

In addition, the sponsor will have a guaranteed presence on the club's communication channels, including the official website, as well as on social media profiles such as Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok and YouTube. These marketing activities aim to give the sponsor maximum exposure and build brand recognition among a wide audience, not only in Bulgaria but also abroad, where the club has numerous fans.
