Crystalline?

According to a statement released by the group, Roshn Stadium includes a project featuring a wide array of shops, restaurants, and hotels. At the heart of the project is the stadium designed for hosting events and matches, seamlessly integrating various facilities within an open, interconnected design. It will become a significant landmark in the southwestern part of Riyadh.

Roshn Stadium will be distinguished by its luminous, crystalline shape, with edges rising to add an aesthetic touch to the skyline surrounding the stadium. It will be inspired by the urban fabric and architectural features of the central region of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The stadium is designed to meet all the requirements necessary for hosting major international sporting events, as well as other entertainment, cultural, and social events. It will incorporate the latest technologies, such as solar energy, and the roof structure will enhance airflow, ensure proper ventilation, and control sunlight access to the venue during the day.

In line with the vision

Khalid Johar, acting CEO of Roshn, said, Roshn Stadium embodies the company's strategic transformation as a multi-asset class developer. The project will improve the quality of life and support economic growth in line with Saudi Vision 2030, while also providing a venue in Riyadh and increasing the kingdom's appeal for hosting international events and sports competitions.

At the FIFA World Cup, the venue is expected to host group matches and round of 32 games. We have featured all of Saudi Arabia's World Cup stadiums in a separate article.
