Everything ready

The so-called structural consolidation works have been completed, both inside and outside the stadium. The pitch has also received the green light. The province clarified that a heating system for the field has been installed. Additionally, a transformer cabin was set up to increase power capacity and avoid any electricity disruptions, and finally, a generator has also been installed. All seats, including those in the guest section, are now in place. Additional turnstiles have been installed as well. At the moment, cosmetic work is being carried out, with workers replacing the seats in the main stand, previously occupied by club representatives.

All the work was financed by Como 1907, in accordance with the agreement with the city authorities. Rent has increased to €205,910. The agreed-upon deadlines with the Municipality were met. Final tests of the facility will begin in the coming days.

Is it time for the new stadium?

Now that the adaptation of Sinigaglia to Serie A requirements has been resolved, the Hartono brothers may soon revisit the project for a new stadium to be given to the club and its fans. Having a stadium by the lake is nice, but football is also a business, and owning their own stadium would activate a mechanism that could generate significant revenue for Como.
