The assignment of El Arcángel stadium to Córdoba CF is nearing completion as the contracting committee has authorized all necessary documentation. The Local Government Board will finalize the transfer on Monday, July 15, leaving only the formal signing of the contract.

What is going to change?
This step ends a precarious 30-year situation, making Córdoba CF the legal tenant of its stadium. The assignment will allow the club to make essential renovations required by UEFA and LaLiga. The contract includes an annual fee of 110,000 euros, and the municipality can organize events at the stadium for 14 days a year.
Córdoba CF's matches were attended by an average of 11,000 fans in the stands last season, so the decisions will more or less affect not only the club, but also many people around. Some, however, are not going to the stands, but are looking for other entertainment. For that, they check out the Euro finals at Lottoland sports betting, which offers a huge selection of betting opportunities.
On July 3, the contracting committee approved the documentation submitted by Córdoba CF, proposing the award of the Concession for the private use of the sports spaces of the New Municipal Stadium El Arcángel of Córdoba
to Unión Futbolística Cordobesa. This entity has owned the club since December 2019, when Infinity took over. The offer from Córdoba was the only one received and was declared the best value for the concession. Mayor José María Bellido and CEO Antonio Fernández Monterrubio have both indicated that the signing is imminent.
The reforms
The transfer is timely to avoid issues with LaLiga registration. Without a title of ownership or lease for El Arcángel by July 31, Córdoba CF could not register for professional football and play in the Segunda División. Fortunately, everything is on track. Monterrubio confirmed that LaLiga requires a title for the playing venue, and the club will present a certification of their agreement.
Last week, a committee from the Spanish Football Federation, UEFA, and LaLiga inspected El Arcángel to assess its current conditions and necessary improvements for Segunda División competition and to host the Spanish national team in October. Monterrubio stated that essential reforms will be made in the limited time available since the season ended recently.
