Spain: Yellow Submarine’s innovations. What has Villarreal prepared for their fans? Villarreal certainly wants to forget the past season, which proved below the expectations of fans from Vila-Real. They were reluctant to fill their favourites' stadium. For the conclusion of the 2023/24 season, the Villarreal authorities have prepared changes to the stadium and an interactive museum deep inside the Yellow Submarine.

Interactive museum and new LED screens

Estadio de la Cerámica, home of Villarreal CF, is entering a new era of innovation. The opening of the interactive museum Inmersión Villarreal is the centrepiece of a series of projects aimed at revitalising the stadium and its surroundings. The official opening to the public took place at the end of May 2024.

The new Inmersión Villarreal museum offers an interactive journey through the history and identity of Villarreal CF club. It features themed rooms and audiovisual presentations. The tour also includes a tour of Estadio de la Cerámica, where you can see the most exclusive areas of the stadium. The entire tour lasts approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes and is available in Spanish, Valencian and English. Tours of the stadium are led by official guides and cost around €15.

In addition, tests have begun on two new LED screens of 150 square metres each, which will replace the static sponsor logos, giving the stadium a modern look. A new pizzeria Del Poble will also open soon, completing the stadium's extensive food and drink offer.
