The practice, which has offices in Manchester, is believed to be providing local support to US-based Meis Architects on the £300 million arena scheme.
Liverpool City Council’s cabinet earlier this year ratified a deal that will see the council form a special purpose vehicle to help bring forward the project at Bramley Moore Dock within Peel Land and Property’s £5 billion Liverpool Waters scheme.
About a year ago it was revealed that sports specialists Meis Architects had been contracted to work on the new stadium. It is now understood that Sheppard Robson has secured a role supporting the US giant.
Sheppard Robson, Meis Architects and Everton FC have been contacted for comment.
