From 2018/19 Bundesliga season onwards fans will be able to stay for the night at Borussia-Park’s new hotel. Apart from 131 rooms it will also provide museum and fan store. And more!

On Tuesday construction began in Mönchengladbach. The west side of Borussia-Park will see a hotel adjoining it. With 7 floors it will offer 131 rooms to Borussia fans, allowing an increase in matchday revenue. It should also help on non-matchdays, making the stadium’s conference offer more complete.

With roughly 15,000 m² of floor space, the hotel won’t only provide beds. It’s also the planned site for Borussia’s new club megastore and museum. Additionally, a sports medical center will be placed here.

Worth €31 million, the project will be ran in cooperation with H-Hotels-AG. Construction should take less than two years, with opening planned for summer of 2018, in time for the 2018/19 Bundesliga season.
