Recent Bangkok Post interview with Thai vice-president of Leicester City FC Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha brings further information of possible King Power Stadium expansion. In order to strengthen their Premier League status, LCFC would increase capacity by 10,000.
City successfully went through their first Premier League season and managed to avoid relegation, which is always the biggest fear for newly promoted sides. Already now the club sold out all 23,000 season tickets for upcoming campaign, which makes expansion talks sound very sensibly.
According to the Leicester Mercury there has been speculation that City would look to develop the East Stand and possibly the Family Stand (north) once they established themselves as a Premier League club following promotion last summer, and Aiyawatt confirmed plans were in place.
