Site clearing has already begun a couple weeks ago, while Torino are now awaiting contractor selection. The club hope to use crowdfunding to return to their spiritual home.

Wednesday saw the third open meeting with possible contractors interested in rebuilding the legendary Filadelfia stadium in Turin. During the next meeting in mid-April Torino are expected to announce the preferred bidder. This is when we should know pricing and time-frame for the new stadium.
If all goes as planned, groundbreaking may come already this autumn. In early February site clearing began with deforestation of the dilapidated site. The club are contemplating using crowdfunding to carry out the project.
Eventually “Granata” would move their offices here, as well as training. However, due to site constraints, it seems highly unlikely the club could ever consider this place as site for main stadium – it’s simply too small. And the Stadio Comunale is located nearby.
