Most frequently selected stadium in the history of our competition and rightly so. Tele2 Arena combines ultramodern multi-event operation model with traditional football supporter approach in a unique way.

Exactly 11,941 people included Tele2 Arena in their ‘top five’ selection. It’s the more impressive, that Sweden’s newest stadium was very highly regarded by voters from around the world, not elevated this high by Swedish votes alone.

Interestingly, Tele2 Arena enjoyed varying notes, getting 2.9 stars on average from every voter. 5-star rating was given by 2,379 people, or 20% of all people including it in their vote. Almost exactly the same number of voters gave it 4 stars/points (2,310), followed by 2,080 three-star votes, 2,153 two- and 3,019 one-star notes.

The new home of Hammarby and Djurgårdens is one of the most unique stadiums opened last year or even of all the new multi-event arenas. On one hand there are new technologies, retractable roof, impressive façade with colourful illumination, etc. On the other hand – the stadium is prepared for completely traditional fan behavior and football supporters were consulted beforehand, which isn’t the case too often.
