And they plan for the whole process to last just 4 years. If “Nerrazurri” succeed, their new venue should be ready for the 2016/17 season – claims “Il Corriere dello Sport”.

Renown Italian journal reports the club has 5 potential locations shortlisted for their new stadium. Inter are supposedly very determined after seeing huge success of Juventus in their first season at a new, privately owned arena.
Though no details have been released just yet, it is understood a new stadium should desirably be ready for opening in mid-2016, in time for the 2016/17 season. That creates a very robust time frame of just over 4 years for acquiring land and permissions, design works and construction.
Last design of a potential ground for Inter was ordered by the club at Manica Architecture a few years back. The only image of the 80,000-seater published then can be seen below. We cannot be sure if the club is still aiming at such a large capacity.
